Lessons – not JUST riding

Riding at Classic Bay Farm is about the opportunity to develop confidence, discipline, accountability and be part of a team while developing friendships in a small environment. I limit the number of students in the program so that each person thrives at their own pace. I believe it is important that students not be funneled into one set program but rather be allowed to express their interests and take advantage of the variety of opportunities here, whether that is dressage, jumping, trail riding, showing, leasing or simply pleasure riding.

Students of all ages learn to make and accomplish goals for themselves. They learn to deal with disappointment when they don’t get the immediate desired results, as working with an animal is unpredictable. But they forge ahead anyway – realizing that only through hours and hours of hard work and practice do they get closer to success.

Lessons are taught by knowledgeable, experienced staff and are available throughout the day, 7 days a week. When it comes to the younger enthusiast, I believe that children should be physically and mentally mature enough to participate in the lesson program so therefore I recommend parents evaluate this before signing up for lessons.

Private (45 minutes) and semiprivate (1 hour) lessons are offered; limited groups available
